Cookie Policy
Effective Date: April 23, 2025
Last Updated: July 29, 2026
1. Scope
This Cookie Policy explains how Ardor Service LLC d/b/a Informed + Choice (“Informed + Choice,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on:
- The Informed + Choice marketing website.
- Authenticated professional and consumer Services.
- Professional webpages and Educational Event Pages created or hosted through our Services.
Different surfaces use different technologies. A technology described in this Policy is used only where it is enabled for the applicable website or Service.
This Policy does not replace the privacy notice applicable to the information you submit. Educational Event attendees should review the privacy notice displayed on or linked from the Event Page.
2. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are
Cookies are small text files stored on a device by a website. Similar technologies include local or session storage, security tokens, pixels, tags, software development kits, and server logs.
Session technologies generally expire when a browser session ends or after a short period. Persistent technologies remain for a defined period or until deleted.
We do not intentionally store Medicare claims data, RSVP-form contents, or other sensitive health information in browser cookies.
3. Categories We Use
3.1 Essential Technologies
Essential technologies are necessary to provide a requested website or Service and may be used to:
- Authenticate users and maintain secure sessions.
- Preserve form state and prevent duplicate or forged submissions.
- Route traffic and maintain service availability.
- Apply security, rate-limiting, fraud-prevention, and access controls.
- Remember privacy or security choices.
- Diagnose errors and protect the Services.
Blocking essential technologies may prevent sign-in, secure areas, forms, RSVP submission, or other core features from working.
3.2 Functional Technologies
Functional technologies remember choices or provide convenience, such as a language, display, accessibility, or login preference. They are used only where the applicable feature is offered.
3.3 Measurement and Analytics
Some Informed + Choice marketing pages or authenticated Services may use limited measurement or analytics technologies to understand visits, feature use, performance, and errors. Where enabled, measurement may process information such as:
- Browser and device type.
- Approximate geographic area.
- Pages or features viewed.
- Date, time, session, and referral information.
- Link, download, or feature interactions.
- Diagnostic and performance information.
We do not intentionally send Medicare claims data, RSVP-form contents, names, email addresses, telephone numbers, Medicare numbers, or insurance application information to analytics providers.
3.4 Server Logs and Internal Counters
Our servers may record request, security, and diagnostic information without placing a cookie on your device. Some Services also use internal aggregate counters, such as page views, QR-code scans, or completed RSVPs. Server logs and counters may be used for delivery, security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, capacity planning, and Service reporting.
4. Educational Event Pages
Educational Event Pages use essential technologies and server logs needed to deliver and secure the page, maintain RSVP form state, prevent duplicate submissions, process an RSVP, prevent abuse, count limited aggregate page and RSVP activity, and diagnose errors.
Educational Event Pages do not use:
- Google Analytics.
- Advertising pixels or ad-network cookies.
- Retargeting or remarketing tags.
- Session-replay technology.
An Event Organizer may not add an unauthorized tracking script, advertising pixel, custom code, or data-collection tool to an Event Page.
If we later enable optional analytics or third-party embeds on Educational Event Pages, we will update this Policy and the applicable Event Page privacy notice and provide choices where required before the new technology is used.
5. No Advertising, Sale, or Sharing
We do not use cookies or similar technologies to sell personal information, serve behaviorally targeted advertising, build advertising audiences from Event attendance or RSVP activity, or retarget Event Page visitors.
6. Your Choices
Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies, refuse new cookies, or receive a notice when cookies are set. Blocking essential technologies may prevent secure login, forms, RSVP submission, or other requested features from working.
Where an interface offers a privacy-choice control for optional technologies, you may use that control to make or change your selection. You may also use legally recognized browser or device signals where applicable to the relevant website, technology, and law.
7. Service Providers
We may use service providers for hosting, security, infrastructure, authentication, communications, monitoring, diagnostics, and measurement. Their processing is limited to the services they perform for us and is subject to applicable contractual restrictions.
8. Changes to This Policy
Cookie names, providers, and technical details may change as we update the Services, but we will update this Policy before making a material change to the purposes or categories described here.
9. Contact Information
If you have questions or concerns about our use of cookies or similar technologies, contact privacy@informedpluschoice.com or support@informedpluschoice.com.
